About the Colloquium
The Doctoral Colloquium is a dedicated event for PhD candidates in sales, sales management, marketing, and related fields. It provides a unique opportunity to present dissertation work in progress, receive constructive feedback from internationally recognized scholars, and connect with peers in a supportive and stimulating environment.
Programme & Experience

June 2, 2026 - Seebay Hotel – Evening
Welcome Aperitivo for Doctoral Colloquium participants. A networking session in the form of an academic speed date, designed to foster peer-to-peer exchange and connections among doctoral students before the formal sessions.

June 3, 2026- Faculty of Economics – Morning
Doctoral Colloquium sessions. Participants will present their research projects, discuss theoretical framing, methodology, and managerial relevance, and receive detailed feedback from senior faculty.
Beyond individual presentations, the Colloquium will feature discussions on publishing strategies, navigating the PhD journey, responding to reviewers, and building an international academic career.
Eligibility & Selection
Who Can Apply
Open to doctoral students (including advanced PhD candidates) from accredited universities; multiple authors OK if at least one is a PhD student.
Submission Requirements
Applicants should submit an extended abstract of their current research/dissertation work. Additional supporting material may include the student's CV and, where applicable, an endorsement/recommendation from their supervisor.
Selection Criteria
Preference will be given to candidates whose work demonstrates potential for strong scholarly contribution, clarity of research questions, methodological rigor, and relevance to the theme of GSSI 2026.

Attendance Requirement
At least one author must be registered for the conference and present in person.
Conference Fee
Doctoral students accepted to the Colloquium may benefit from a reduced conference fee.
